Yaning Huang

Yaning joined KAUST in 2021. In November 2021, she began working as a Laboratory Assistant in Prof. Magnus Rueping’s lab, where she focused on bacterial culture and protein extraction. In August 2024, she joined Prof. Simon Krattinger’s Lab Group as a Research Technician, specializing in tissue culture and transgenic plant research. Yaning received her M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in June 2019 and has a strong background in plant biology and research. She is particularly passionate about transgenic technologies and is excited about applying genetic engineering approaches to advance crop improvement.
